Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy explains what information SeniorHomeReport.com collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. SeniorHomeReport is published by Longleaf Digital LLC (“we,” “us”), based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

What we collect

Quiz answers and contact details

When you take our medical alert quiz, we collect your answers (for example, who the system is for, where it will be used, and your budget). Before showing your results, we ask for your first and last name and email address. We don't ask for your phone number. We also note whether you checked the box to receive updates from us.

How you found us

We record basic visit information: the page you first landed on, the site or campaign that referred you (for example, the “utm” tags in an ad link), and how long the quiz took.

Link clicks

When you click a link from our results to a medical alert company's website, we record which company you clicked, where it appeared in your results, and the quiz session it came from. This helps us understand which results are useful, and, where we have an affiliate relationship, it lets us and the company attribute a purchase to our site.

Where your information is stored

Quiz answers, contact details, and click records are stored in a database run by our database hosting provider, which processes it on our behalf. The site itself is hosted by a web hosting provider that processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and keep the site secure.

How we use your information

  • To show you your quiz results and send them to you.
  • To send you related information and offers about medical alert systems. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • To understand how people use the site and improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

We don't call or text visitors.

We don't sell your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site (such as our hosting and database providers), when required by law, or if the business is transferred to a new owner who agrees to this policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies:

  • A visitor ID cookie (kept for up to one year) so we can tell repeat visits apart without knowing who you are.
  • A campaign cookie (kept for up to 30 days) that remembers which ad or link brought you here.
  • A session cookie that remembers the first page you visited.

We may also use analytics tools to measure how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. When you leave our site for a medical alert company's site, that company (and any affiliate network it uses) may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in the email.
  • Ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Retention and security

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or database is completely secure.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
